PLease support Arch based distro's!
I run Manjaro, and with many others. Manjaro is gaining in popularity fast. So an Arch compatible version of Local would be very much appreciated I think! Kind regards, Henk
PhpRedis instead of Predis
Predis was discontinued by dev, and most hostings nowadays are using PhpRedis (5.x mostly), so it would be logical to have it on Local WP so we can test the most similar environment locally.
Choose to push/pull [newer files/all modified files] BEFORE determining file list
For push/pulling a large site, the "Determining file list..." step starts running automatically, takes forever (10+mins for me), and hides the option to choose [newer files only] or [all modified files] until after it has completed. This means if whatever that option was set on previously is not what you want this time, you have to sit and wait for the full (unwanted) file list to be generated, then change the [newer/all] option, then wait for the new files list to be regenerated. It'd be much nicer if the [newer files only / all modified files] toggle functioned just like the [select environment] dropdown, staying visible and adjustable BEFORE and WHILE the [Determining file list process] is running.
WebP support for GD and IMagick
Use TouchID for authentication if present
It would be great to add TouchID as an authentication method for those actions that require it, if it is available. Specifically, when asked for authentication for editing the hosts file.
Collapse all directories in file overview when pushing/pulling a site.
When pushing or pulling a site (to WP Engine) all directories are open by default. This means the list is very long and I need to first close all directories before I can find the files/directories I am looking to push/pull. Would be great if the directories would be collapsed when the files are loaded...
Add a Preferences button for macOS
Adding a Preferences button for macOS will help with usability. Please keep the native Preferences menu item as well.
