Support multiple WP Engine accounts
If you have access to multiple WP Engine accounts under the same login then Local is unable to allow you to choose the account that you want to push/pull from.
Pull only database so Git can continue to version files.
Request from WPE Support: If we had a way of only syncing the database while using Local this would allow Git to work alongside it so they get both advantages. Versioning files, while also allowing customers to deploy database changes without 1) contacting support, 2) logging in via SSH, importing, search & replacing etc. If we could push/pull only the database everything else is handled for them. It should be a pretty big QOL improvement.
Option to change site path on setup
Normally I use a custom Vagrant build for my WordPress development because I built it to mirror my AWS environment. I have the environment building my site from a github repo on every deploy and it has a structure not compatible with Local: *app/httpdocs/ * app holds all my app configs (composer.json, package.json, various CLI and other scripts) * and httpdocs holds the actual wordpress install (and the wp-content dir ect) lots of things here are installed via composer. But Local only looks to the app/public dir for the site root. It would be great if during the setup process we could rename the "public" to something else (with directory separators so we could maybe nest things a bit)
Pull from Backup
It would be great to be able to pull directly from a backup. Thus, when pulling from Production we would have the option to pull the current live site or, choose from the backup list. This would be especially useful for debugging and resolving update conflicts so that we can quickly roll back to previous backup versions to find the last working site.
Sync latest database from server
Would be really helpful if we can fetch/sync latest database from/to the live server.
It would be great if you didnt have to manually open and start the program and sites every time you turn on your computer. Provide options to start LocalWP when Windows starts. Provide option per site to start when LocalWP starts.
Sync sites using Dropbox
It would be nice to move away from MAMP the only reason I still use it is because I can sync my sites between computers using dropbox with ease. This is a feature that has been ask for over and over again in the forums.
PHP Error log / HTTP Log Viewer inside Local UI
It would be great to have immediate access to PHP (and HTTP) logs inside the FlyWheel UI. I imagine something like the log view WPE has in the dashboard, but I personally use PML http://pimpmylog.com/ and would e equally happy with that getting installed and preconfigured for locals log locations.
